Miss Stephanie's class watched as a butterfly emerged today. Each classroom is learning about this process as they observe their caterpillars turn into butterflies. A butterfly emerges from its chrysalis after about 8–14 days

Miss Carla's class explored coconuts. Coconuts are actually giant seeds that can travel across oceans to grow a new tree. People around the world use coconuts for food, shelter, and oil.

For Earth Day Week, Miss Carla's class collected a big pile of boxes. They read the book A Box Can Be Many Things. They measured them to practice using different measurement tools while using problem solving and friendship skills. Today they made their boxes into robots.
